Meet alora kranja, lmhc, pmh-c
It’s time to care about you, too.
I’m a therapist licensed in New York and Vermont specializing in motherhood, pregnancy loss, postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety and women’s mental health.
I want you to truly hear this:
Reaching out for support can feel hard, especially when you’re used to being the one who holds everything together.
At the core of my approach to therapy is creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
It takes strength to admit that this season feels harder than you expected, especially when you’re used to being the one who keeps it all together. Navigating motherhood, anxiety, identity shifts, and relationship changes can feel overwhelming, disorienting, and quietly isolating.
Therapy grounded in compassion and genuine connection creates a space where you don’t have to filter or carry it all alone. Together, we can make sense of what you’re feeling, process what you’ve been through, and begin to find steadiness again.
You deserve support that understands the weight you’re carrying and meets you exactly where you are.
How I work
Central to my approach is having a space where you can be fully yourself, without pressure to hold it all together or pretend things feel easier than they are.
As a new mom, I understand how this season can feel both deeply meaningful and unexpectedly overwhelming. With a background as a former corporate professional, I also recognize the experience of being high-functioning on the outside while quietly struggling underneath.
My work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practices. Together, we will explore what you’re carrying, understand patterns that feel stuck, and build practical tools to help you manage anxiety, process grief, and feel more steady in your day-to-day life.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more supported, and more like yourself again, both within and beyond motherhood.e.
Therapy with me is…
01 COLLOBORATIVE
We work as a team to understand what you need most from therapy. Your goals and experiences guide every step we take together.
02 practical
Therapy offers tools and strategies you can use every day to manage anxiety, grief, and overwhelm. Together, we build skills that help you navigate motherhood with more ease.
03 supportive
I’m here to hold space beside you through the ups and downs. I’ll cheer you on and stand with you every step of the way on this journey.
04 empowering
The goal is to help you find your inner strength and joy again. You’ll rediscover parts of yourself that might feel lost or foreign right now.
